Our Taranaki branches are active in hands-on projects protecting native plants and animals in the remnants of native habitat that are left in the region.

From protecting petrels nesting in our North Taranaki cliff-top reserve, to helping kiwi populations recover on the slopes of Mt Taranaki, our branches welcome your help in restoring the native biodiversity of the region.

Our South Taranaki Branch won Forest & Bird’s inaugural Pestbuster trophy for pest control in the area, and the branches maintain pest control in a number of parks and reserves.
